The park is divided into two sections, Western Shores (Dukuduku Park) and Eastern Shores (Cape Vidal Park). St Lucia is surrounded by beautiful lush green landscape that has a lot more to offer compared to any other destinations in Kwazulu Natal. Restaurants and pubs for the foodies, wild life for the animal lovers and the most magnificent of bird life such as the Giant Heron, stunning beaked Hornbill and the screaming Fish Eagle. Guests prefer to stay in St Lucia Town and visit the park during the open gate times. Staying in the park has its restrictions, guests are not allowed to leave the compound or fenced in area after 7pm.
